Red Couch

You're so cute

on the red couch;sparkling, blue eyes,gazing so longingly.

I just may stare at this for days.....fetching pose, my dear.

They were beautiful together;
As beautiful as sunlight
Falling upon a rose.


I spied them from a distance,
Calling softly, 
Calling, with bird-like whistles,
In the brightness of the day
Only accentuated their unabashed pose. 


Oh, how the Summertime
Brings out the best of us.
